This is a post to say thanks to all of our followers and recommenders! Almost all of the calls that I've taken today have mentioned that somebody has recommended us to the caller - this means a lot to us! Hopefully it means that we're doing things the right way but we wouldn't be where we are without people telling others about us so please, keep spreading the word and - once again - thankyou to all of you...

Some of what we've been up to over the last week. A couple of different bee removals, one from a chimney in Carbis Bay, one from a roof and a dovecote in St Erth, also a swarm. Several big macrocarpas half dismantled, ready for the rest to be done next week. Have a feeling that this weekend will be a swarmy one!

Squirrel Damage! This is a video to show an example of grey squirrel damage on a semi-mature sessile oak. Much of this will have been caused during the 2024-25 winter. Although the crown was showing signs of our health during the summer, the extent of the damage wasn't visible from beneath the tree and climbing it showed the full extent! Whatever ones opinion on squirrel control, this is the damage that can be caused and there is no squirrel friendly preventative!
