Cobblers and Keys - Hadleigh Many people will be aware that Cobblers and Keys Ltd (inside QD) has served its last customer. After 22 years my Hadleigh shop closed at the end of January 2023.
Cobblers and Keys opened inside Buy Right (now QD) in Hadleigh on January 1st 2000, closing this outlet has been heart-breaking, regrettably due to ill health the decision has been made for me. Being nearly 69 it's probably time to jump ship and retire anyway.
It has been the greatest pleasure and an honour to know and serve so many wonderful people. I would like to thank everybody for their support over the last 22 years of Cobbling etc.
Simon, my son, will continue to run the business at our Sudbury shop in Borehamgate Precinct, where you may see my face from time to time. Sudbury will continue to provide over the counter services, which are also available at our online stores. Contact details for the Sudbury shop and our online websites are below. In addition, our Ipswich shop was taken over by Cooks Keys in 2021 and the services are available with Phill at Morrisons Ipswich.
If you have not picked up your repairs/keys yet they will be available to collect up to the 5pm on the 8th Feb while we dismantle the unit and after that date at our Sudbury Shop.
So, once again thank you to my customers, the senior management and staff in QD you will all be missed!
