A busy few days on this project carrying out several structural alterations to help transform the customer’s kitchen.

✔️ Opened up the existing fireplace to create space for a new range cooker
✔️ Carefully propped and supported the chimney breast before work commenced
✔️ Installed new concrete lintels to safely carry the load of the chimney above
✔️ Removed the redundant brickwork and enlarged the opening

We also:

✔️ Cut out the existing brickwork below a window opening
✔️ Converted the window opening into a new doorway providing direct access outside
✔️ Prepared the opening ready for the new door installation

A lot of planning and structural work goes into jobs like these to make sure everything is completed safely and correctly while giving the customer the layout they want.

Over 20 years… finally rebuilt properly 👌

This wall was knocked down by a stray van over two decades ago and had been left looking tired ever since.

Cleared back all the overgrown shrubs, rebuilt the damaged section, tied it back into the existing wall, and matched the brickwork as closely as possible to keep it in character with the original. Finished off with original coping stone detail

Customer needed better access to get his motorbike in and out of the shed, so we removed the old area and installed a brand new sandstone patio with a level finish for easy access.
