I’ll be honest… boys’ bedrooms are not the easiest to design. This space had to work hard….. somewhere to relax, game, study, and still feel like them.

Happy (long) Easter weekend! Aka the socially acceptable time to eat chocolate before noon 😊 Hope you’re finding a moment to slow down, switch off, and maybe ignore that cupboard you said you’d organise.

Sharing a few of my fave shots from the primary bedroom at Project Poppy. We were spoilt with generous proportions and that dreamy bay window, which we dressed in full-length linen curtains (I love the onion fringe on the leading edge), layered with café curtains for that perfect balance of softness, light, and just enough “no peeking” energy. The custom headboard with all those curves brought just the right amount of drama whilst still keeping things calm.

Here’s to longer mornings, fresh sheets, and pretending we’re all fully rested 🙃 Happy Easter 🐣

A room without a focal point is a bit like a dinner party without a host…. everyone’s just awkwardly hovering, not quite sure where to look or what they’re meant to be doing.

It’s the thing that quietly says, “yes, this room does in fact have its s**t together.”

Whether it’s a beautifully restored fireplace, a smug little media wall, or something more subtle with joinery, artwork or lighting, a proper focal point pulls everything into line and gives the room a reason to exist (bit dramatic, but true).

Half the time, I’m not adding anything new, just rescuing what’s already there from a life of being ignored, or reworking the layout so the space actually makes sense.

Because the difference between a room that feels “nice” and one that feels finished is usually just that…. A clear place for your eye to land, instead of aimlessly wandering like it’s in a B&Q on a Sunday.

Kitchens really are some of the most rewarding spaces to design. The heart of the home, where everyday moments turn into celebrations, and sometimes even a little disco.

It’s where family and friends gather, stories are shared, and memories are made. From bespoke cabinetry to carefully layered textures and materials, I’m in my element creating spaces that strike the perfect balance of beauty and function.
