AMBERLEY GARDENING SCHOOL UPDATE!

LESSONS EVERY TUESDAY 945AM-1130AM
(LESSONS CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)

We have had a great 4 weeks at Hemel Garden Centre as a pop-up gardening school and have decided to continue on into April in the hope that we can help as many people learn about gardening as possible.

Over the last 4 weeks we have looked at plant names and types, soil science, how to design your garden, how to use different plant food, pruning woody plants and herbaceous perennials and lots more to mention.

So! a big thank you to the lovely people that have been coming along through March, you all make it worthwhile, hope to see you in April.

SUBJECTS THROUGH APRIL
9th April - Specialist flowers for cutting, Advice on veg growing.
16th April - Introduction to Alpines and Marginals, Advice on lawns
23rd April - Control of pest and disease, Recap on plant foods.
30th April - Planting hanging baskets, Soft fruit growing tips and advice.
