Buds Gardens Ltd is an established, family run grounds maintenance company covering Hertfordshire. We are looking for dynamic people to maintain and organise various sites throughout Hertfordshire, ensuring all grounds maintenance services are delivered to a high standard which meets company and customer expectations. You must have strong customer care skills and the ability to represent the company professionally. You must be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team and help identify opportunities for business development and improvement.
We are proud to be one of the fastest growing grounds maintenance and landscaping companies in the area and as part of our growth plans we are now looking to recruit a grounds maintenance team leader to join our successful team.
The day to day roles and responsibilities include:
- Effective delivery and completion of a variation work across the region.
- Ensuring Health and Safety practises are followed.
- Lawn Mowing.
- Strimming.
- Hedge Cutting.
- Bed and Shrub Care.
- Grounds Management/Maintenance.
- Soft & Hard Landscaping.
Person specification:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a gardener in the grounds maintenance industry.
- PA1/PA6 desirable but not essential.
- First Aid Certificate desirable.
- Excellent communication and team motivational skills.
- Experience driving vans/tippers.
- Excellent organisational and time keeping skills.
What Buds Gardens Ltd Offer:
- Full Time, Permanent position.
- £25,000 - £28,000 per year depending experience.
- 28 days paid holiday per year.

This is a full time position and contracted days of work will be Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm, however overtime is frequently available on other days.
It is also important to be enthusiastic, reliable and to smile.... Lots!
You must be able to make your way to Kimpton (SG4) for 7.30 am.
