I’m 18, hardworking and reliable, with hands-on experience working as a labourer / builder’s mate on residential projects across Harrogate and North Yorkshire and I'm looking for work.

I’ve supported a range of trades including joinery, plumbing, landscaping, conversions, roofing, and general site work, and I’m confident working as part of a team and following instructions properly.

I’ve achieved:
🔹 BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying (Pass)
🔹 City & Guilds Health, Safety & Welfare in Construction (Pass)
🔹 BTEC Level 2 Engineering (Merit)

I’m keen to secure an apprenticeship and while I seek an employer willing to take me on, I'm hoping to find labouring or part-time work to make use of my skills. Whether that’s construction, landscaping, groundwork, building supplies, warehouse, or something else! I want to bring energy, teamwork, and a strong work ethic to a local tradesman, company or team.

I’ve passed my driving theory test, take regular lessons, and have my practical test booked, so I’ll be driving soon. Until then I am Harrogate based (Bilton), and willing to commute on foot and via public transport/lifts.

I'm sharing my LinkedIn post on here, as I'm back on the job hunt after my recent employment came to an end, so hopefully, my network can like/share.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of project conversions and the winter slow down, I have been let go, which also means I have not been able to start my apprenticeship...

So, if you, or anyone you know is looking for a site labourer, brickwork, or joinery apprentice, I am available immediately.

I have a Level 2 Diploma in Brickwork from Harrogate College, and I'm keen to secure an employer so I can progress on to the Brickwork Apprenticeship ASAP. I have labouring and sitework experience and have spent the summer months working full-time in construction on domestic and conversion projects in the Harrogate area.

Having worked onsite for the last few months, I have proven my ability to be punctual, hard-working and willing to develop my skills. All of my employers are willing to provide references, and I'm open to working full or part-time in the run up to the Christmas holidays. I have an up-to-date CV ready to share and I'm happy to work on a casual or contract basis.

This Feb Jake took on his biggest job to date. A full bungalow renovation project in Bilton.

The project will involve a full gut - clearing rooms, stripping and prepping walls, removing tiles & vinyl, lifting floorboards, capping radiators, plugs and plumbing, and so much more!

Once cleared and prepped he will labour for the onsite trades professionals in addition to working on the drive, garage, fencing and garden.
