With the Women’s Cricket World Cup just around the corner, Emirates Old Trafford is preparing to welcome teams from across the globe.

We’ve supported the delivery of new changing rooms at Emirates Old Trafford, upgrading the previous facilities to support the demands of international cricket.

The layout has been completely rethought to create a more open and practical environment, with better circulation and dedicated areas for preparation and recovery.

It’s great to see the difference this is already making for players and staff, and to know the ground is ready for what’s ahead.

Where did the last 20 years go? It doesn’t seem that long ago since we were watching Daniel Craig make his debut as Bond, but it does seem at age since we were all typing out emails on BlackBerrys.

That’s a snapshot of 2026, which is also the year colleagues Martin Wood, Ian Chapman and Simon Parker set up their own architectural practice built on years of collective experience designing well crafted buildings.

We’ve switched up our brand colours in that time, and office locations have moved slightly, but we’ve stuck firm to our mission of improving lives, enriching heritage and inspiring education, becoming a B-Corp along the way.

We’ve maintained a variety of projects, from education to offices and community projects to public realm projects, and with those projects we’ve been lucky enough to meet and work with like-minded clients and contractors.

As for our people, we’ve employed over 100 in the past 20 years, some of whom have gone on to set up their own practices and businesses, and we continue to pour all our passion into our work, with an ethos rooted in user-centred design, good communication, and buildings that had a positive impact on the community, education and our natural environment.

So, as we raise a slice of cake at our recent away day, we’re reflect fondly on the past 20 years, and look at ahead with the same energy and commitment for what’s to come.

There’s a real sense of momentum on site at Ellesmere Park High School. As the steel frame for the new extension goes up, we’re one step closer to delivering more teaching space, better circulation and an improved dining environment for a school that’s growing.

As students at Ellesmere focus on their GCSE exams, our team is working quietly and carefully in the background to keep the site safe and the school running smoothly. It’s a genuine team effort with Consilium Academies and the wider school community.

Be Happy. It’s one of our missions. But when deadlines are looming and there’s a hold up, stress can easily take hold. That’s why we welcomed back Nicky The Stress Specialist to share her wisdom on the role of stress, and how to keep it from running away from us.

There were a lot of laughs and tools to take away, and we’re thankful to Nicky for once again for reminding us that stress has important role to play, but we can have more control in how it shows up in our daily lives.

Fantastic news for The Northern School Of Art!

Its Middlesbrough campus has been named the top-performing further education provider in England for under‑19s, with an exceptional 95.3% achievement rate.

We’re proud to have played a part in this journey through our work on the campus, completed in autumn 2021. It’s brilliant to see the space now helping students thrive, build confidence and achieve their goals. A true example of inspiring learning in action!

Our former project is in the spotlight again, this time as it's shortlisted for two awards and the upcoming .

The Heritage and Refurbishment/Revitalisation categories we're up for are certainly reflective of the careful restoration that when into rejuvenating this much loved hub of the community.

We're delighted with this recognition after the collective efforts between all parties involved - beginning, of course, with the community efforts to fund the restoration.

Leeds has given us the opportunity to work on some fantastic projects over the years, and these images capture just a few highlights.

In a few weeks’ time, Simon will be back in the city, spending time meeting contacts and attending fringe events taking place around UKREiiF.

If you’ll be in Leeds and would like to arrange a meeting while he’s there, send us a message - we’d love to catch up.
