Case Study: Luxury Garden Office and Retreat in Walthamstow Village, Waltham Forest

Background:
Sarah and James own a large detached Victorian home in Walthamstow Village. With both working from home more often, they needed a dedicated office space that offered privacy from the main house. They also wanted the space to double up as a family retreat in the evenings and weekends.

Solution:
We designed and installed a 6m x 4m garden room with bespoke cedar cladding and aluminium sliding doors. Features included:
Underfloor heating and acoustic insulation
Eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient glazing
Integrated Wi-Fi, smart lighting, and hidden storage
Built-in desk and shelving, plus a sofa area with a pull-down cinema screen
Timeline:
Completed within four weeks, including groundwork and full installation.
Result:
The space now serves as a productive, peaceful workspace during the day and transforms into a cosy family cinema and relaxation space in the evenings.
