Update for the masses !!!

The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business varies in so many ways

Running different businesses is really hard.

What they don’t tell you and what only a few know is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression even the most laid back people and the strongest willed can suffer from this

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Fake reviews to try and bring you your reputation into question ain't unheard of either

Something for nothing is usually mentioned too.

People expect you to be available 24/7 at the drop of a hat because “you work for yourself so you can make time”

unfortunately this is not the case most of the time.

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a bigger company

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance.

You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife.. it’s one of the hardest things you will try and balance

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed. It takes a toll.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!

This was copied from a small business owners page and amended slightly however i thought it should be shared as i have personally experienced much of the same since startup in 1999,

Also as many of you MAY or MAY NOT know our visibility has been none existing throughout the town and ON>LINE due to health issues and lack of quality staff availability..it was a hard decision for me to make however i shut the doors for a while and they are only just adjar to date ....on another good note im currently on the road to recovery and to better health and hope to be back full time somewhere in the future servicing your needs once again ...

For now we are only taking on smaller works if my health allows....thanks for your continued support you know who you all are..

ATTENTION!!

A1 Response are looking for a multi skilled tradesman and or fitter to be part of our team.

The successful applicant should possess a full U.K. driving licence.

A work based history going back at least 5/10 years within the industry is key.

If you have your own tools this would be an advantage however not a requisite to be successful.

Your own mobile phone is also key.

Excellent rates of pay for the right candidate and some managerial skills would be an advantage.

Rates of pay will differ for the successful applicant.

This job role will be on a Self employed basis and this would reflect in the successful applicants rate of pay.

Company vehicle/van will be suplied for the right successful candidate 👍

Customer orientated, customer friendly.

Must be a dog/cat person and fluent in banter to work alongside the team as the majority of the locations we will work in will evidently have pets.

A clean and tidy, well organised individual is definitely required in this roll.

Uniform supplied.

Must be able to organise vehicle stock on a daily/weekly basis

Plumber / joiner / multi skilled technician / bathroom fitter / kitchen fitter / wet room installer experience is definitely beneficial to be successful in this application

Must live local or in within the TS postcode

Well without fail we where there today to take it apart and fit another replacement tray FREE of charge

When things go wrong A1 is true to there word !!!
