I did my 3rd Great North Run on Sunday and it was class! So chuffed to have raised loads of money for and even managed a PB and a decent tan (sun burn).
I was straight back into the gas jobs on Monday and if I’m honest, really should have taken the day off 😂.
Please bear with me if it takes me a while to walk from my van to your house!

Recently fitted this lovely radiator for some lovely people in their lovely house, finished off even more lovely by their fantastic carpentry skills of refitting the flooring so neatly! 👌

Gas safety is essential, popped to do a landlord gas safety inspection today and came across this, on the surface it looked fine, not a very tidy install but that didn’t mean it was unsafe, then I noticed an old flue from a previous boiler, tested the emissions and it was pumping out brutal levels of carbon monoxide! managed to get a new correct flue sharpish, fit and re test and all is now safe , install of a carbon monoxide alarm also, (new legal requirement in rental properties from October 1st) however no doggos on this job :(

Serviced this top lads boiler today, condensate pipe was leaking so I replaced that with a lot less elbows which makes sense. The extras were free cos the doggo is good! I even take parcels in for you from the posty if you’re not around!

Gas safety week is coming soon! I’ve been gas registered for 19 years and I carry out a lot of gas safety inspections for homeowners and tenants - It really is incredibly important to have your gas appliances checked yearly!
