First day of hydro seeding on new site completed- hydro seeding is a mix of mulch with a glue mixed with water and the seed mixed in a big mixing tank and then pumped out a hose at a fast rate to spray the seed on to step banks for grass to grow, along with the mulch acting as a sticking agent for the seed along with erosion control of banks. Hydro seeding also is a quicker method of grass seeding with a faster germination rate as you are also adding moisture to the soil that help get the seed growing faster than traditional methods
