✨ Bedroom Transformation Complete ✨

This project was all about improving flow, function and feel. By removing the original brick wall between two bedrooms, we were able to create a generous main bedroom with a dedicated dressing area, transforming what were once two smaller spaces into one cohesive suite.

The en-suite was refreshed with a new vanity unit to improve storage and usability, and the traditional hinged door was replaced with a sliding door to free up space and create a cleaner, more modern transition between rooms. Karndean flooring was installed throughout, with new skirting and architrave installed to complete the finish.

The result is a brighter, more purposeful layout that feels calm, considered and far better suited to modern living, all achieved without extending the footprint of the home.

Structural Opening & Sliding Door in Hurstpierpoint.

We created a new structural opening in the rear of this garage in Hurstpierpoint and installed an anthracite sliding door.
The goal was simple: bring as much natural light into the space as possible so the client can comfortably use it as a home gym.

The difference in brightness and usability is huge - a dark garage now feels like a purpose-built room.

Great to be invited back to Aroma Cafe & Kitchen - Keymer 🙌 After completing major works here previously, we were delighted to return and install new hygienic wall cladding to their kitchen. Always a pleasure working with the team, and with Brighton City Electrical Limited to get everything finished to a tight deadline. Wishing them every success with their reopening tomorrow!

Restoring a Piece of the Past in Haywards Heath.

This cedar summer house, built in the 1960s, holds huge sentimental value for its owner. Over the years, the original doors and sidelights had deteriorated beyond repair, but instead of a modern replacement, the brief was clear: keep it authentic.

Toggs Hall Builders brought us in to handle the carpentry, and Darrell Ward Joinery produced a set of beautifully made replacement doors and sidelights, matching the originals perfectly. We took care of the full installation on-site.

We also reused the original ironmongery where possible, including the charming old claw lock, escutcheon plate, and rollers, to preserve the building’s character and heritage.

A satisfying little project, and a proud moment of bringing something loved back to life. 🌿

Always take the time to finish your joints properly.

We’re using a jointing iron here to compact the ProJoint RapidFlow Basalt compound into freshly laid Indian sandstone on a project in Burgess Hill.

Using a jointing iron helps ensure a solid, long-lasting joint, preventing cracking, shrinkage, and premature wear. ProJoint RapidFlow is ideal for porous natural stone like this, offering high strength, fast curing, and excellent water permeability - perfect for the British weather!

This basalt shade gives a clean, modern contrast to the natural tones of the sandstone, making the patio pop.

Another patio complete, this one in Burgess Hill, using calibrated Indian sandstone supplied by Parker Building Supplies. It’s finished with a basalt grey jointing compound for a clean, modern look that complements the natural stone.

We also added a crisp white decorative stone border along the fence lines, a small detail that makes a big difference. It gives a tidy edge, helps with drainage, and sets off the paving beautifully.

Laying patios is one of the most enjoyable parts of our work. There’s something really satisfying about bringing structure, texture, and colour together to transform a space that will be used and enjoyed for years to come.
