In Havant town in the Pallant hall
Volunteers formed a group with skills and ideas
To mend what was broken
To heal what was torn
To stitch up the long forgotten
With boxes and bags of needles and threads
With spanners and screws and rivets galore
Rusted tools, once considered no more now shine and sparkle they're not dead
Clocks now ticking
Shoes not cracked
Seams restitched
Tools sharpened
The towns folk came with their troubles and tears
With broken chairs, lamps and bears
Or their bike that once had gears
With a smile and a care
They patched up their woes
The volunteers repair, renew, rescue and reuse

Our next Repair Cafe is in February as The Pallant is busy with other events in January (not to mention our volunteers so soon after Christmas and New Year).
