Create a space which serves you, not against you. The top picture is "aestetically" beautiful but gives you very little, in fact it would cost you an awful lot to maintain such lawn and bushes. In the bottom picture we have a front yard which will serve you. The time and energy you put in will give you far greater reward, health and presence.

At the start of the first world war they "Victory" gardens were coined and from 1917 to 1944 over 20 million families created their own food production systems generating a whopping 8 million tonnes of their own food annually.
If we are to step towards a greener, cleaner future for our kids we must start with our own local food production systems.
