Mayfield Project 🏡

The other property at Mayfield is now a 3 bedroom property with a lounge, bathroom, kitchen & separate WC.

Just carpets and finishing touches to go & then it will be completed.

This property is already under offer and the new buyer plans to move in very soon🏡

Renovations don’t always go to plan..

Our client purchased this property & gave it to us to renovate.
Second week in we found dry rot under the flooring on in the bedroom effecting the joists, which wasn’t noted on the home report and wasn’t clear until we lifted the floor boards.

Thankfully our amazing tradesmen got straight to work removing the affected joist, treating the area & replacing the joist & floor boards.

This was all done in the space of a few days meaning zero delays and we’re still on track to complete the renovation within the original timescales.

You may remember the Mayfield project that we posted about at the end of last year… well after lots of digging outside for new drainage, builders completing the rendering on the outside of the property, we’re finally back inside doing the finishing touches 🏡
Cleaners have been in this week ensuring it’s dust free before the new carpets get laid🏡

This is one of the properties we have made out of the old mayfield bar. The property compromises of a large open plan lounge / kitchen, a utility, a family bathroom & three bedrooms, one with an en-suite. The property is all on the one level and has a disabled ramp externally.
Once completed the client plans to dress it and hand it over to MJC Property Ltd Holiday Rentals for management.
