Before and after renovation prune on this apricot tree that hadn't been pruned for a few seasons. Had to be quite brutal to get the fan shape back and get it tied back to the wall so potentially a bit less fruit next season but worth it to pull it back into form before it became a lost cause!

Meadow area at has been scarified and loads of yellow rattle seed added. Yellow rattle is a hemi parisite on grasses so hopefully we'll start to see a reduction in the vigour of the grass from next year which will mean more chance of getting some nice wildflowers going in subsequent seasons.
