Another job completed 👌

Kitchen fully prepped and finished to a high standard, including repairing a hole in the ceiling with plasterboard, then filling and sanding smooth.

All walls were dustless sanded for a flawless finish, then completed in a beautiful soft pink from the Dulux Heritage range, with Heritage Eggshell on the woodwork 🔥

Also fitted wallpaper in a small toilet to freshen the space up ✨

Another decorating job completed 🎨
Two small rooms refreshed, including changing the existing brown woodwork to a clean white finish.
When painting over stained or varnished trim, proper preparation is key. The woodwork is first sanded to key the surface, then an adhesion primer is applied so the paint bonds properly, followed by an undercoat. This is then finished with two top coats for a durable, even finish.
All paints used are Dulux Trade for their coverage and reliability.

Another hall, stairs and landing completed at one of the larger properties I regularly work at. ✨🏡
Preparation is always key on these jobs — plenty of filling, sanding and detailed cutting in to get everything looking sharp and clean. The finish has really brightened up the space and given it a fresh, modern feel while keeping in line with the style of the house.

Blown render was properly repaired by LC Plastering Services, then once cured I carried out thorough preparation (scraping, sanding & filling) before decorating. I cleaned the fascia & guttering at no extra cost to finish it off.

Fresh plaster should always be properly sealed before painting.
🛠️ A correctly applied mist/sealing coat allows the paint system to bond with the surface rather than just sitting on top.
Without it, paint can peel, look patchy, or fail prematurely ❌️.
✅ Once done properly, the finished paintwork should be durable — it shouldn’t scratch off easily.
If it does, it’s usually a preparation issue, not the paint itself.
