It was one of those days I got a nice surprise while out on recce marking out the route of an ancient path (that could be more than 2000 years old.) We came across the bridge I forgot I had designed earlier this year, which runs across the old mill dam, which is now under construction. It had to be cost effective but resilient, using the piers of the old structure. Although not finished yet, it clearly works! Its part of a project being commissioned by John Urquhart and FOLLAT (friends of loch Lomond and the Trossachs) and it's rewarding to be a small part of such a vital community endeavour.
