🌳 Play in the Park is a series of totally free events taking place in parks across Hereford this summer holiday. The aim of these events is to create more opportunities to get people outside and using local outdoor green spaces with the community. 🌳

We’ve got a whole range of activities happening including

• Flight Club – make your wings and fly through our paper aeroplane course

• Face painting & balloon modelling from Looby Lou Parties 🤡

• Circus workshops & live performance from NuNula Hula Circus🎪

• Giant games courtesy of Herefordshire Board Gamers🥳

• Family fitness & party bibes from GLO Fitness Herefordshire EM-MAZING PARTIES 🎉 🎉 🎉

· Make & take creative workshops
· Bouncy Castle
· Free healthy snacks and refreshments
· And more!


🌳 Friday 9th August – Oak Crescent Park, HR2 6AJ

We will have the use of St Martins Church toilets which includes a disabled access facility. St Martins FoodShare will be serving free snacks and refreshments from the church Hall.

🌳 Friday 16th August – Central Avenue Park, HR12JU

An accessible toilet will be onsite. St Martins Foodshare will be serving free snacks and refreshments from the Foodshare van

🌳 Friday 23rd August – Yazor Park, HR4 9HZ

We will have the use of Neitiv’s toilet, a short distance form the park. St Martin's FoodShare will be serving free snacks and refreshments from the Foodshare van

No booking required just turn up – suitable for all ages, all welcome

Please walk, cycle or use public transport where possible.

11am-3pm

It’s the kids rooms that are upsetting for me, what a bloody mess!
Reality is nothing really is salvageable.

Realizing that the majority of our sentimental items were in the loft is upsetting… the loft & it’s contents are no longer there! Completely gone. 🔥
To be honest I didn’t realize I was a sentimental person till I broke down over a cheap plastic Father Christmas musical toy that I will never see again. Jeff’s homemade decorations & the actual 4 piece of artwork I kept 🙈 all gone.
Each year we add a Christmas bauble to the Xmas tree, along with personalized decorations for loved ones we have lost 💔
I don’t think decorating the Christmas tree will ever be the same 😭
It’s a constant reminder every year of what we have lost & suffered.
Time is a healer they say 🙏🏼

Property viewing tomorrow so fingers crossed we can make it suitable for us & get the ball rolling to get into somewhere & make it home for the foreseeable future.

Dogs seems more settled today, they have been really distressed 🐶

Janey has seen the house 😭 I don’t need to say anymore about that!

We’ve all had a few moments today, trying to stay strong for each other is hard & mentally draining but we are they for each other ❤️

Thought of the day & it’s been said before but honestly please be kind.
Promise yourself to do just one kind gesture each day/week or even month.
You never know what someone else is suffering or going through.
We had our coffee & bacon bap brought for us today in Tesco, literally brought us all to tears 😭
People are so kind ❤️
