So got a call earlier in the week about a leaking roof around a chimney went over for a look and could see the problem was the lead round the chimney had lifted allowing the birds to get under the tiles and tear the felt . So I recommend removing the lead and tiles round the chimney replacement of any damaged felt and rotten battens recovering repaired area wit old tiles . Then redressing leadwork round chimney and sealing with lead mate finally on the requested of the customer fitted a bird gard on chimney pot all the work was completed in a day and the customer were very happy with the end results another happy customer . Was asked by Irene Langford of Holme lacy road to put a bird gard on her chimney as she was having trouble with them this year when I got up there it was clear it needed a bit more than a bird gard so after a quick chat with the neighbours we decided to do a proper job and do all the chimney at once and split the cost's now all new pots and dividing walls have been reinstated and all flaunched up with a new waterproof capping looks good for anything mother nature has to throw at it hope you are both happy with the job many thanks D Williamson general builder. Please keep liking and sharing all of my post.

So got a call from Sue and Alistair to come and have a look at there garden where I was working before I broke up for the summer they new exactly what they wanted and what they wanted to spend so I dug the whole garden flat and put in a foundation for one of the planters as Alistair had already put one in and done the top patio so I built both planters making sure they worked slabs and put down 100 mm of compact skelp then laid the slabs on a full base 75 mm thick would love to come back to do the jointing and brick on edge round the planters and some decrative stone round the edges just to finish it off many thanks D Williamson general builder pleas keep liking and sharing and please contact me with any work enquiries many thanks.

Been enjoying some time off with the kids but back to work now been over too mum and dads to build a few walls and put in a doorway to form a new kitchen put the rsj in the roof space and knocked down the old supporting wall to really open the space up and once it's all plastered you will never know it was once two rooms much better than seeing the rsj in the finished room hope you are happy with it please keep sharing and liking my post many thanks D Williamson general builder don't hesitate to contact me if you are looking for a good reliable builder .

Been a few weeks since my last post all water tight and all the electric and plumbing is in soon be plaster on the walls I have about 2 weeks left on this one it's taken about 6 weeks so far so not to bad for an 8 week project if anyone is looking for a good all round builder give me a try I also drew all the plans for this and worked out all the quantities and have been spot on with my quote so no horrible surprises for my customer and I hope they like there new extension and utility room I have thoroughly enjoyed working for these customers and look forward to completing the project for them .

Just in case you have all been wondering where and what I've been up to for the last couple of weeks been busy on this extension had all the work past off by building control and next visit is when the roof go's on drew all the plans myself and will be doing this one for the next 6 weeks so will keep posting with the progress. Please keep sharing my posts as you can never have too much work thank you.
