🎉UPCOMING HEREFORD EXHIBITION 🎉

I am thrilled to say that I will be exhibiting my paintings with from Saturday 26th July (my birthday!) to Saturday 2nd August in Hereford.

Having recently moved house and day jobs it has been a good bit of time since I have exhibited or even painted so I am very excited to get my art out into the wild again.

Why did I name this painting “Faith & The Sea”?

It’s a bit of a roundabout story but stick with me!

All of my paintings are ocean themed. As an artists I draw all my inspiration from the UK’s many awe inspiring coastal landscapes, beaches and waterways.

With “Faith & The Sea” I decided I wanted to maintain a very limited palette and make use of a new paddle brush; keeping things as simple as possible to make a big visual impact in this artwork.

Whilst painting I was listening to a podcast about the life of Sir Francis Drake, a little left field I know but I am obsessed with Dan Snow’s ( ) pod!

Early on in the episode Dan Snow said :

“Faith and the Sea, that was Drake.”

Hearing that I couldn’t think of a better title for this painting I had barely even started! Once it was finished I knew the name fit perfectly.

So thank you and for accidentally naming a painting!

New Here? Hi!

I’m Cait Rebecca — an artist, designer, and small business owner based in the South West of England.

I paint abstract art inspired by the sea — the colours, textures, and feelings of being by the coast are at the heart of everything I create.
I only started painting in 2024, but the journey has already been amazing. I’ve felt so welcomed by the art community, and showing my work at Bath Contemporary Artists Fair has been a real highlight. The warm reception has meant the world to me — thank you!

Since then, I’ve been developing my skills, experimenting with new techniques, and growing my own unique style that reflects my love for the ocean and coastal living.

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be back at Bath Contemporary Artists Fair on 13th July — I would love to see you there!
