Hey people! I'm back and this is what happened next..
Those same clients ππ½(featured in the grid post next door) found me after years of being out of touch - they literally hunted me down and wasn't fussed about where I was working but were happy to hear I'd started up on my own and were excited to be working with me once again π
Excitingly this time it was for help with their holiday home in . Unfortunately with the way the world was/still is, our initial plans for me to fly out to Portugal prior to the work staring didn't materialise, but as soon as I can I will make that trip and hopefully see how the whole house was furnished.
This was such a challenging space to design, check out slide 2 to see the original floor plan. In the early stages of my planning I had all those structural columns to consider and incorporate into the design where walls were removed to open up the ground floor. There were moments (usually late at night when I get my best work done ) when I thought 'WTH!' thankfully the client finally confirmed after some discussions with the architect/ structural surveyor out in Portugal that 5 out of the 7 columns were able to be removed... !
So this folks is what emerged from their brief, some creative planning and a sprinkle of that 'Bead Interiors touch' π
Ps: You may have noticed from the previous post that this client loves the colour and hints of so this latest proposal includes small accents of these colours, whilst trying to make the kitchen distinctively different from the UK kitchen but instead with more minimal Mediterranean vibes.
Hope you like it as much as they did, let me know your thoughts?
