We work throughout Northumberland, North East England and the Borders of Scotland, but we can travel further if required. We are dedicated to both fulfilling our customers wishes, and preserving the needs of trees. We offer a free, no obligation quotation service, and a fully efficient site clearance is guaranteed with every job. Our expert team have over 20 years experience between them in forestry, arboriculture and with machinery. All of our arborists hold professional qualifications such as Health and Safety, Manual handling, along with NPTC Certificates in chainsaw operations and other relevant machinery certification. All our work is carried out to the British Standard guidelines set out in BS3998.

We recently removed two Sycamore trees following a subsidence report, with concerns raised around moisture demand within the soil close to the property. The stumps were also treated to help minimise regrowth moving forward.

This job came with a few challenges, including overhead power lines, which required organised shrouding to allow us to work safely, along with a steep bank side above the house so ropes were used to carefully lower timber and prevent anything travelling downhill.

The work has opened up much more natural light to the property while still retaining the surrounding woodland, with plenty of mature Sycamores remaining within the area.

At TC Tree Services NE Ltd, the day starts long before we arrive on site.

The team are in the yard early, going through the days work, checking kit, loading machinery and making sure everything needed for the job is ready to go. From there it’s travelling to site, walking through the work with customers, answering questions and carrying out the job safely and properly.
Then after the work’s complete and the sites left tidy, its back to the yard to tip arisings, clean down and maintain equipment, lock everything away, report back to the office… and finally head home ready to do it all again tomorrow.

A lot goes on behind the scenes and none of it would work without the hardworking people behind it. We’re very lucky to have a great group of lads who genuinely care about doing the job properly🌳

Our team felling a large dead tree which was leaning over the road🌲⚠️

After partially failing, this tree had become caught and left hanging above the roadside, making it unstable and unpredictable to deal with.

A recent Scots Pine removal where the root system was beginning to affect the retaining wall below.
With enough space beneath the tree, larger sections could be free-falled safely into the designated drop zone while the climber dismantled the tree in sections from above 🌲
