JOB VACANCY - Arborist/Groundsman

We are looking for a reliable, hard working individual to join our small team of professional arborists.
The ideal candidate will need to have a good work ethic and have an interest in developing a career in arboriculture.
Experience is not necessary, however the work is very physically demanding and this will need to be considered on application.

Duties include but are not limited to -
- Loading and offloading correct tools for the job.
- Processing and removing waste created.
- Stacking timber
- Cleaning the work area
- Being on hand for assisting climbing staff.
- Splitting logs
- Assisting with the monitoring and maintenance of machinery and equipment

The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively and working well as a team is crucial within this role.
We work for a range of clients, from private individuals to local authorities. Therefore, the individual must have the ability to present themselves professionally and adapt to the vast range of work and customers.
The enthusiasm and motivation to develop their professional skills within the industry is desired.
MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO DOWNLEY TO START WORK EACH MORNING

Rate of pay depends on experience and ability.
