✨ A little experiment...
I was curious how this handmade koi mosaic would look in different interiors, so I created a few visualisations.
Honestly, I think I love all three 🥹

A quiet mix of matte yellow and aged gold —
with a few darker accents hidden in between.
Swipe closer to see the texture,
the subtle differences,
the way light moves across each surface.
These tiles have just arrived to their new home in California,
after weeks of making, drying, firing…
Every piece slightly different —
and that’s exactly the point.

Handmade in Somerset
now part of a space somewhere much sunnier ✨

Packed, wrapped… and ready to leave the studio 💛
After weeks of making, drying, firing, glazing and firing again —
this batch of yellow ginkgo tiles is finally on its way to its new home.
There’s always something a little emotional about this moment…
seeing them all together for the last time before they travel across the world.
Each one slightly different,
each one made by hand,
each one carrying a small piece of this studio with it ✨
I can’t wait to see them installed —
that’s always when the story feels complete.

Where in your home could you imagine something like this?

Some designs happen only once.
Almost four years ago, during the renovation of our home, I created this unusual combination of my handmade fish scale tiles.
I’ve never repeated it since… but the idea keeps coming back.
Would you repeat it?

Around seven years ago, a client in Australia ordered my handmade ginkgo tiles and installed them in her self-built camper van.
A tiny home on wheels.
It still amazes me how something made in my small studio can travel across the world and become part of someone’s everyday rituals — coffee in the morning, hands washed after a swim, life lived on the road.
There’s something beautiful about handmade pieces that move with people. 🌿

While working on something recently, I found myself digging through my archives… and came across those photos.
It was taken almost exactly 10 years ago, in my very first studio in Warsaw. Back then I was pouring this oversized lampshade mould by hand — learning through trial, error, heavy buckets of slip, and a lot of patience. It felt enormous at the time, nearly filling the kiln.
Looking at it now, I can already see the beginnings of what still defines my work today.

These handmade tiles have found their new home all the way in USA 🇺🇸🤍
Every time I see my work installed in a real home, it feels almost surreal. What once started as raw clay in my studio has now become the focal point of this outstanding kitchen.
I am incredibly grateful to my wonderful client for sharing this beautiful video. Her kitchen is absolutely breathtaking — the dramatic dark cabinetry, layered textures and bold character of the space create such a powerful atmosphere. Seeing my handmade tiles become part of that statement design truly means more than I can put into words.
This is why I love creating bespoke pieces. They are not just tiles — they become part of someone’s everyday life, their morning coffee rituals, family dinners and quiet evenings at home.
Thank you for trusting handmade craftsmanship and for allowing my work to travel across the ocean and become part of your story 🤍✨
Would you choose bold handmade tiles as the focal point of your kitchen?

Some pieces don’t belong to a moment — they belong to a place.
These handmade fish scale tiles found their home in France, becoming part of everyday rituals: quiet mornings, warm showers, soft light moving across the surface.
Made slowly, tile by tile, with small variations that only reveal themselves over time.
I love knowing they now live their own life, far from the studio, woven into someone else’s daily rhythm.
Older project, still very close to my heart. 🌊

Recent days in the studio.
These pieces are now ready to rest and
Time for new projects —
fish scale tiles heading to Florida
and yellow ginkgo tiles for Australia.
Slow making, one step at a time.

Over 15 years ago, I opened my first tiny studio with clay-covered hands, no kiln but a heart full of hope. I didn’t know where the journey would take me — I just knew I wanted to create ceramics that carried feeling, intention, and longevity. Pieces that would become part of someone’s everyday life, their memories, their home.

So when, last week, a client sent me photos of the tiles she ordered back in 2018 — still proudly displayed, still loved — something in me softened. I remembered shaping each tile, choosing the glaze, carefully packing the box. I remember who I was then, how much I dreamed of moments like this. To know that my work is still bringing joy all these years later… it’s overwhelming in the best way. My heart honestly swelled.

Messages like hers remind me that handmade isn’t just an object — it’s connection, trust, time, and a little piece of someone’s soul. And to everyone who has supported, believed in, ordered from, or simply cheered me on… thank you. You’ve helped turn a quiet dream into a life I deeply love. 💛
