A Pine tree had died and fallen towards the road, getting hung on another tree. Being too dangerous to sectional fell we anchored the top into another close tree, pulled it away from the road, then lowered it under control. Once on the ground it was a lot safer to deal with.

Not posted for a while as I keep forgetting to take photos.
Today we felled a large Poplar that had previously lost a limb and was showing signs of decay around the base. Being close to a listed cottage the decision was made to remove it. As we had lots of space to play with, we removed one limb with the telehandler that was going to hit the Silver Birch. Once that was clear we done a winch assisted fell with the Unimog then chipped and stacked the logs ready for collection.

An extremely large Willow Tree failed at the base and got hung in 4 other trees. Luckily it fell away from the road, but made it an interesting and awkward removal. Luckily we have the tools for the job.

3 Poplars having a hair cut. We timed it right missing the rain. Even had some helpers come over to tidy up

Windblown Silver Birch from the weekend. Shame as it was a nice tree.

So this poor Willow got a bit top heavy and lost a limb in the wind. Luckily only a fence panel was damaged. On inspection there was a lot of rot and a large cavity at the top, so we cut it right back to healthy wood where it will regrow. A bit tricky between 2 summer houses so everything was lowered with rigging lines.

Something a little different today. Not often we get the mobile saw mill out.
This Walnut truck will be turned into two grand tables for a customer by Custombuildbros now it’s planked up.

An easy Ash Tree removal. The customer also wanted to keep all logs down to an inch for their log burner, so they were cut and stacked for them.

Tree felling, winch assisted felling with 1 of our vehicles, reductions, and clearing fallen trees. 6 Poplar trees done in a day with the tallest at 70ft. With our specialist team, qualifications and kit we can do small or large jobs safely and efficiently.

Couple of wind blown trees we were called to deal with.
The first was in a woodland we maintain with a footpath running through. We used the vehicle winch to pull it out, as it was hung in other trees.
The second was in a back garden that had fallen into a school field, also damaging the fence.
