Customer called us to see about repairing their porch roof which was leaking!.
On inspection the original porch had no footings and had started to pull away from the house…….. So……. We knocked it down and rebuilt to current building regulations.

TIP OF THE DAY!

Never skimp on insulation.
It not only provides warmth but has fantastic heat retention properties too ,saving on bills. It also provides soundproofing in between rooms.

We always build our studdings with a minimum of 4x2 timber to provide a more solid structure.
Pattress’s fitted to the studs make life easier when fitting T.Vs or cupboards to stud walls……

Turning the old into the new!
Old battered and bruised walls transformed into beautiful painted surfaces! Customer also required their loft opening making bigger, so we duly oblidged, cutting back the joists and adding trimmers and bracing to add needed support before fitting a new drop in panel.
All in all a thourghly enjoyable job with a great finish!
