A recent planting project completed in Holmes Chapel — installing 8 pleached Red Robin Photinias to create an instant evergreen screen with year-round colour and structure. 🌳
Tree work isn’t just about removals, reductions, and maintenance. A huge part of what we do is giving back to the landscape through planting and long-term tree care. Every new tree or shrub planted helps improve biodiversity, privacy, air quality, and the overall appearance of outdoor spaces for years to come.
For this project, we installed sturdy stakes and support ties to help the pleached Photinias establish properly. Pleached trees have a top-heavy trained framework, so staking is essential during the early stages to prevent wind rock, protect the root system, and encourage strong, stable growth while the roots settle into the ground.
