Today we supplied and laid tarmac to this 90m2 driveway in Thurlstone.

The drive was fully prepared by the home owner. We treated the area with weedkiller before laying 12.7 tons of base tarmac, in 1 x 60mm layer. The drive was topped by laying 6.3 tons of 6mm SMA (stone mastic asphalt) industrial tarmac, in 1 x 30mm layer.

This week we completed the resurfacing inside this warehouse at Sheard’s Packing, Halifax.

On this visit we resurfaced a total area of 750m2. The overall job is much bigger, but since operations need to continue, we completed half this week with the other half being completed next week.

Tac-coat emulsion was applied to the entire area before 65 tons of base tarmac was laid to level up and infill any depressions. The entire area was resurface with 40mm of 10mm SMA (Stone mastic asphalt) industrial tarmac, in 1 x 40mm layer.

This week we completed the resurfacing of this 660m2 industrial unit in Oldham.

20mm bast tarmac was laid in 1 x 80mm layer. The area was topped by laying 40mm of 10mm SMA (stone mastic asphalt) industrial tarmac, in 1 x 40mm layer.

Last week we completed the reconstruction of this 81m2 driveway in Meltham, Holmfirth.

The entire area was excavated to required depths.

New 6” flat top edgings and Aco drainage channels were laid on concrete bed and backing, to good line and level at the drive entrance.

The entire area was treated with weedkiller before before being stoned up as required using MOT type 1 limestone.

9.5 tons of base tarmac was laid in 1 x 50mm layer.

The job was completed by laying 5.7 tons of 6mm SMA (stone mastic asphalt) industrial tarmac, in 1 x 30mm layer.

Last week we completed the reconstruction of this 101m2 driveway in Liversedge.

The entrance to the driveway was widened by approx 1m before the entire area was excavated to required depths.

22.6 linear meter of 6” flat top edgings were laid, on concrete bed and backing, to good line and level. 4.6 linear meter of Aco Drainage Channels were also laid on a concrete bed.

54.7 linear meter of driveline 50 block paving boarder was laid on a concrete bed and the entire area was treated with weedkiller and stoned up as required using MOT type 1 limestone.

11.9 tons of base tarmac was laid in 1 x 50mm layer and the job was completed by laying 7.1 tons of 6mm SMA (stone mastic asphalt) industrial tarmac, in 1 x 30mm layer.

This week we finished the resurfacing of this 240m2 shared roadway in Shelf, Halifax.

The first 45m2 was in a state of disrepair, so this was excavated to required depths.

New D400 Aco Drainage Channels were installed, on a concrete bed and backing.

The area was treated with weedkiller before MOT Type 1 limestone was laid to the excavated area and compacted.

6.3 tons of base tarmac was laid, in 1 x 60mm layer.

Tac coat emulsion was applied to the entire area before 22.6 tons of 6mm SMA (stone mastic asphalt) industrial tarmac was laid in 1 x 40mm layer.

This week we supplied and laid tarmac to this 130m2 driveway in Halifax, on behalf of KB Landscape and Building Services.

The area had been fully prepared prior to our arrival. We treated the entire area with weedkiller before laying 15.3 tons of base tarmac, in 1 x 50mm layer.

The job was finished by laying 9.2 tons of 6mm SMA (stone mastic asphalt) industrial tarmac, in 1 x 30mm layer.
