Out with the old and in with the new.

Shed replacement for a client to custom specification built to withstand the weather and be there for years to come.

20’ x 12’ shed, 3x2 framing 4x2 roof trusses, steel profile roofing with skylights. Work still to do to box in the pads on which the shed is sited as the drive was uneven and sloping both ways.

From dense vegetation where it was almost impossible to get into the
graveyard to a good proportion removed, paths cleared and most graves uncovered.

Phase 1 of the golcar baptist chapel project complete.

Next phase applied for to define areas in the graveyard, more tree clearance and there will be some significant works happening to ensure safe public access and ensure the graves in the yard are safe.

Over 100 tonnes of chip removed from this site. Brilliant job by the team on a tricky site with no chance of mechanising the works to make things easier.

So 2026 is well under way, this is a snap shot of what we have been doing so far.

Christmas trees as far as the eye can see. We have chipped up free of charge for the forget me not children’s hospice, honley village and honley scouts totalling over 2000 trees.

Completed a number of jobs on behalf of kirklees council keeping public access routes clear as well as some tree planting and moving materials ready for volunteer tree planting days.

Shifted some timber from jobs early in January when the ground was frozen so we could get access to fields.

Made inroads into the clearance of a cemetery in Golcar. A mammoth job.

Completed a number of domestic tree and fencing jobs.

Completed a landscaping job in scholes with a complete fresh planted hedge, returf of a lawn, patio extension and moving various bushes and shrubs.

Kept up with our contracted clients on the grounds maintenance round. This covers domestic properties as well as factories food production sites, managed housing and schools.

We are here for all your tree work, fencing, landscaping and grounds maintenance need. We are Safecontractor approved and the only Arboricultural Association approved company in Kirklees.

Before an after for a client in Honley. We removed the conifers to the side of the property a few weeks ago and have been back over the last few days to remove more conifers, install fencing to the front and side build and install a custom gate and extend the artificial lawn to fill the gaps.

Job completed on time, to spec and at a price the client is happy with.

Domestic fencing job completed for a client in honley this week.

Rip out of some old fencing and install concrete posts, rock faced gravel boards and euro style panels.

Job completed on time, on budget and with minimal disturbance to the garden.

The company recently invested in a 15 m tracked access cherry picker to improve safety when working on trees and hedges.

The machine runs on tracks similar to a mini digger and can get through gaps as narrow as 700cm meaning it can be taken into back gardens.

We have done a number of jobs with this machine in the few weeks since buying and have a lot of jobs booked in over the coming weeks.

The machine is available for hire on an operated basis or self drive if you have hired in plant insurance.
