One of the best moments of a role in architecture is letting a client know they have planning permission.
It can be an emotional time and can be very stressful waiting for the decision to come through. We understand it and try to make the process as painless as possible for you, although we have to admit, it can be emotional for us too.
Today our happy client received planning permission for their single storey side / rear extension.
A newly formed kitchen / dining / living space will be formed creating a fantastic space for them to enjoy for years. 🥂🍾

A nice end to the week, planning permission granted for one of our return clients.
Despite some objections, we received full permission with simple conditions.
The scheme will include an additional bedroom with em-suite, a larger kitchen dining space and will provide an independent annex with living accommodation for a relative. ❤️

Nice to revisit one of our recent projects to discuss further work.
The coach house is located in the garden of our clients home and included the conversion, remodelling and extension to form this awesome B&B.
With some effort and a bit of battling we obtained planning permission, then followed building regulations approval and we provided detailed working drawings.
An excellent source of income and future possibilities and a well executed project by all involved.

What a great start to the year!

We hope everyone's had a fantastic January and that all of your projects are going well.

We kicked off the year with several planning approvals within Kirklees, further afield and within the Peak District National Park.

We are continuing to work with our clients on new build dwellings, domestic extensions and commercial properties.

Here's a sneak peak of one of the projects we are currently working on.

We recently obtained Planning Permission for this Wonderfull barn conversion in Helme, Holmfirth.

The barn is a beautiful building with plenty of charm and character in a fantastic little hamlet.

The planning permission allows for the conversion of the barn, where the new generously sized kitchen diner is located.

The formation of a new single storey extension will allow for a new entrance lobby with front and rear glazing, plus a new living room with French doors and a vaulted ceiling.

2 good sized bedrooms are permitted, both with en-suite facilities.

The barn is for sale and will be sold via p***c auction on the 26th March 2024 at The Huntsman Inn.

A humble home undergoing an impressive in Helme . Foamglass has been used under and around structural beams & post, insulation installed on the floor, diathonite will be applied to the walls, the roof will be highly insulated using mineral wool insulation.
Great work so from the guys at the Green Building Company.
