This beautiful Nobilia kitchen in Dronfield was designed to bring warmth, texture and practicality back into everyday life. From the rich Sanremo Oak accents to the calming Honed Olive cabinetry, every detail was chosen to create a more social, relaxed space for the whole family to enjoy.

The bespoke breakfast bar, feature shelving and ambient lighting completely transformed what was once a dark and mismatched kitchen into the true heart of the home.

This Dronfield Woodhouse kitchen perfectly balances practicality with warmth and texture.

From the rich Sanremo Oak detailing to the soft Honed Olive cabinetry, every finish was chosen to make the space feel calm, modern and welcoming.

✨ MATERIALS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE ✨

This Bradway kitchen combines rich natural textures with sleek contemporary finishes to create a space that feels both modern and warm 👌

The combination of:
✔️ Mineral Green cabinetry
✔️ Havana Oak detailing
✔️ Calacatta Dusk quartz
✔️ Matt black accents

creates a palette that feels calm, layered and timeless rather than overly clinical.

One of our favourite features in this project is the contrast between the soft earthy green tones and the warmth of the oak breakfast bar and feature cabinetry 🙌

The dedicated spice kitchen also allows the main kitchen space to remain clean, social and uncluttered while still giving the family all the practical cooking functionality they needed.

A perfect example of how thoughtful materials and clever design can completely change how a kitchen feels to live in.

🚨 Sometimes the biggest challenge is helping customers see what’s POSSIBLE 🚨

This Whirlow kitchen originally felt dark, cramped and limited by the layout the customer had lived with for years. ❌

The family knew they needed:
✔️ More storage
✔️ A brighter space
✔️ More room around the dining area

…but initially they couldn’t really imagine the room working any differently.

That’s where proper kitchen design makes all the difference 👇

Instead of simply replacing the old kitchen within the same footprint…

…the layout was completely rethought.

A wall was removed to open the kitchen into the dining area, creating a much larger and more social space 🙌

The new island layout completely changed:
✨ movement through the room
✨ storage capacity
✨ natural light
✨ and how the family uses the space day to day

One of our favourite details is how the downdraft hob keeps the sightlines across the island open — making the whole room feel much more connected and sociable.

The result is a kitchen that feels dramatically bigger, brighter and more functional than what was there before.

🚨 The old kitchen no longer worked for the way this family wanted to live 🚨

This Stalybridge kitchen originally felt closed off from the rest of the home… ❌

The customer wanted something completely different:
✔️ Open-plan living
✔️ A social kitchen space
✔️ Somewhere to cook AND spend time together
✔️ A room that felt connected to the rest of the house

So as part of a rear extension, the entire space was reimagined around modern family life 👇

The kitchen now flows into:
✨ a dining area
✨ a sitting area
✨ and a bespoke media wall

creating one large connected living space rather than separate disconnected rooms.

One of our favourite things about this design is the island layout.

It means you can continue cooking while still staying part of the conversation 🙌

No more disappearing into another room while everybody else relaxes elsewhere.

And matching the media wall finish to the kitchen furniture helped tie the whole room together beautifully.

✨ FROM MISMATCHED & TIRED… TO WARM, TEXTURED AND COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED ✨

Over time, this Dronfield Woodhouse kitchen had become a bit of a patchwork of different door fronts and styles… ❌

The space no longer felt cohesive, and the customer wanted something that looked far more fitted, modern and intentional.

So the transformation focused on bringing:
✔️ Colour
✔️ Texture
✔️ Better storage
✔️ More light
✔️ A much more bespoke feel

The Honed Olive cabinetry completely changed the atmosphere of the room, while the Sanremo Oak detailing added warmth and depth throughout.

And introducing lighting into the design helped brighten what had previously felt like quite a dark kitchen 🙌

The customer also kept their existing freestanding range cooker — proving you don’t always need to replace everything to completely transform a space.

Now the kitchen feels:
✨ cohesive
✨ brighter
✨ more practical
✨ and far more personal to the customer

The warm Havana Oak detailing softens the concrete finishes beautifully, while the slim Venato Nero worktops keep everything feeling sleek and contemporary.

🚨 The best kitchens make family life easier 🚨

This Greenhill kitchen wasn’t just designed to look good…

…it was designed around how the family actually lives day to day 🙌

✔️ Large island with loads of prep space
✔️ Breakfast bar seating for homework & informal dining
✔️ Wide drawers for easier access storage
✔️ Hidden internal bins to reduce clutter
✔️ Open-plan layout that keeps everyone connected

One of our favourite details in this kitchen is the island drawer layout 👇

The cutlery drawer is positioned so it can still be accessed while somebody is cooking.

It sounds simple…

…but it solves a really common family frustration:

trying to set the table while someone’s stood cooking in front of the drawers 😅

The breakfast bar also gives the kids somewhere to sit and do homework while meals are being prepared — making the kitchen feel much more connected to everyday family life.

And because the island is so large, it works brilliantly for entertaining too 👌

Perfect for buffets, drinks, family events and social occasions.
