Working with a long-term customer allows for a deep understanding of their property and its unique needs. In this case, a powerful wind storm highlighted a weak union on an alder, a common issue where two or more stems grow too close together, creating a structurally unsound connection. By reducing the tree's height and spread, we lessened the weight and leverage on that weak point, significantly decreasing the risk of failure while preserving the tree's overall health and aesthetic value. This proactive maintenance, informed by years of experience with the property, helps keep the customer's home and family safe, and it's a great example of the trust and partnership we build with our clients.

A customer recently contacted us with concerns about his Leylandii trews. He had hired another company after they'd left a leaflet at his door, but their work resulted in a snapped BT cable and stilll charged him for a part job. We stepped in to finish the job safely and efficiently. Not only did the customer get the high-quality service he was looking for, he also saved money in the end.

Removal of a mature Beech along the menai straits. Sadly although it looked healthy a survey had find Ganoderma and Kretzschmaria deusta fungi which effects the heart wood of the tree, as the recommendation was to remove urgently and the tree had an TPO (tree preservation order) the local authority were informed and permission was granted for immediate removal. We will be back to carry out more work later next week.

More Ash die back with BuckleysCraneHire and R mills daughter and son Ltd. The Kato can get into some tight places and lift a lovely 5m length which is 3ft wide and straight stem which we cannot wait to mill. Any thoughts of what to make out of the timber?

Happy New year guys. Not a big poster on FB but here is a breakdown of 2022, it's been a epic year! The Ash die back has made a massive dent in the tree count on Anglesey, so this year with a great idea from Anglesey Forest Club , for every mature Ash tree taken down by ourselves we will be either donating a tree back to the customer to replant or planting it on there behalf on our land.

Pine tree in Llanfair PG. This Pine had a TPO, but as the tree was dying we had the go ahead to remove it. At 5 foot 7 inches in diameter at the base and with a crown wider than tall, it made an interesting few days. With a power line shutdown organised and traffic management in place we had limited time to tackle this beast! But with the an awesome group of lads it was just another job done.

A great day at Ysgol Caergeiliog, watching the year 6 pupils plant trees donated to the school by Anglesey Forest Club and Simcox Tree Services. It was a pleasure to meet such polite and enthusiastic children, a credit to the teachers and parents.
