Whats that big yellow thing in the sky 😍

Thought i would drop on to say we are very much still here and have been flat out creating lovely gardens for lovely people. Will post some updates next week. The project we are currently on is well underway so keep an eye out for the finished photos. Good evening guys, i hope you are all keeping well and looking forward to some warmer weather, its been a long winter! We started the year installing a block pave driveway extension then straight into some patio work for a lovely couple in Honiton. A new shed made and installed in Axminster and have recently finished a beautiful porcelain patio in sidmouth, i will attach some photos below.

Not only have we been busy on the tools, we have been looking at many jobs this year already which is great. However, i must say i am appalled at the amount of jobs i am looking at that other ‘landscapers’ have installed not so long ago and have failed miserably. I have seen 5 jobs this year already that have been given wrong advice, wrong product information and installed completely wrong. Those that know me personally know i hate to see people getting ripped off and I’m seeing more and more of it in recent years. Patios are an investment, not a gamble. When you invest use a professional. We are not the cheapest and we don’t try to be. Cutting corners will cost you more in the long run, choosing the wrong landscaper could mean mistakes, delays and paying twice to fix it. With T.Travers landscaping we do it right the first time, using many years of experience, quality materials and a professional service you can trust!

Happy new year everyone! Hope you all had a lovely time over the festive period. Seems like a lifetime ago already!

If the forecast is right it’s looking like we might be in for a rough ride this evening with some storm force winds around plus quite a lot of rain. Keep an eye on any vulnerable neighbours you might have as power cuts, fallen trees, flying debris and damage to fences, roofs, greenhouses etc will be highly likely. Not nice if you’re alone all night.

The ‘shining star’ project has been completed and what a way to end the year 🥹. Please read on and share the love. There is still good people around in this world….

After meeting with the clients back in March, (who are awesome by the way) our brief was to design and build a garden suitable for wheelchair access and to create space for an amazing little girl that’s already faced more battles in her life than most of us will ever have to deal with. I went away from the initial site visit wanting to help out so after speaking to the team, we decided to offer our services free of charge for the project. What happened from there just shows there is still some fantastic people in our community that wanted to help out.

Today we handed the garden back over to the clients and what an emotional-joyfull morning it was. It was fantastic to have some of the people that helped along the way being there to say hello and to have a look at the finished project. Holding the tears back was hard up until Santa made a special suprise visit. The smiles and laughter this brought was the exact reason we carried out the project in the first place.

I cant thank this man enough for his help, Ben Welch who works within Jewsons spoke to some suppliers and kindly got all of the building material donated for the project ❤️.
Another big thank you to James Willis from Blamphayne Sawmills Ltd who was more than happy to help with the project. James kindly donated all the timber we required to get the job done ❤️.
A big thank you to John Lewis and Barry Hawkins from Jewson Honiton for organising all of the deliveries ❤️.
A big thank you to Simon Trim from Trim Electrical Contractors for installing the new electrics around the garden ❤️.

A big thank you to James Trevett from Combe Garden Centre for helping with the pergola and organising a suprise visit from Santa ❤️.
Most of all thank you to the team im privileged to work with. I am only as good as the team we have, thanks for all your hard work ❤️.

We all get caught up in the rat race of life and sometimes forget the true meaning of helping others. If what we have done helps that little shining stars life even the smallest amount, feel very proud, I certainly do. Merry Christmas ❤️

Just a little update with the progress on the latest project recently named ‘shining star’.

We have been up against it with the weather but we have managed to make steady progress. All the ground work done, new levels created for wheel chair access, new drainage installed, base installed, electric cables placed in and some beautiful 600x900 porcelain paving laid. Honestly guys, we have been blown away with the amount of support on this project but to top it all off, not only are we giving our services completely free of charge, Ben welch, a local hero that works for Jewsons got in touch with many different suppliers and explained what we were doing, the response he had was truly amazing as they all offered to help out and donate all of the material for the project!

The most valuable thing anyone can do is give you your time. Time is the one thing money cannot buy back. The amount of people offering/given their time with this project is just amazing!

Starting our last job before christmas which is a very special job for an amazing family. After years of fostering they have recently adopted a beautiful little girl thats turning 3 soon, we got approached to re design the garden to make full wheel chair access as this little shining star has cerebral palsy.
Having young children of our own, not only did we want to undertake the project, we also said we will carry out the whole job free of charge.

I will share more information along the way as there is so much more to this project and so many people to thank for their support in making this dream garden happen.

It might be miserable outside but its not stopping us getting jobs done. Here is a recent small project we carried out in feniton. The customer wanted to re-do the failed patio and steps but also maximise the space. Out with the old and in with the retaining walls and porcelain paving. Just some glass balustrade to add in the new year to finish it off.

Although its not quite bbq weather, if you are thinking of having your garden re landscaped its definitly the time of year to get in touch before the 2026 diary gets full.

Well what a cracking couple of days its been lately. The cold isn’t for everyone but personally i love this time of year and although its not quite bbq weather at the moment, im sure this customer will enjoy many summer evenings on this porcelain patio we installed recently.
