Malus profusion in all it's glory... Buzzing with bees and solitary pollinators, it's mass of burgundy pink flowers are a delight to behold! An ideal ornamental tree for the smaller garden, it has this stunning display of flowers every spring that turn heads in every direction 😁🌸

I've been longing to do this for the past two years and it's finally happened! I'm obsessed with planting trees - they benefit the environment, benefit pollinators and birds and of course, they benefit us, by lifting our spirits, cleaning our air and giving us something to admire!
It's a wonder to behold this little Prunus Pink Perfection in all it's springtime glory! How do trees produce petals so soft, delicate and pink?!
I planted the tree with peat free compost with added John innes mixed with soil, some beneficial micorhizzal fungi and vitax q4. The ultimate boost for growing season and any potential droughts we may face this summer...

The season of nature's harvests is here! Beautiful fruits and seeds that help birds and other wildlife fatten up for winter or fill their stores ready for the colder months ahead.
These beautiful fruits are from the malus evereste tree, loved by pigeons and black birds and also great for making crabapple jelly.
With the long period of drought this summer, all the trees have produced a bumper crop of fruits and seeds - a mast year!

All the pretty wild flowers 💙

Sowing a patch of wild flower seeds in your garden not only creates a stunning display, but it provides pollen rich flowers for bees and other beneficial insects to feed on.
Your area should be sunny and sheltered. I sometimes use canes to help support the taller cornflowers and poppies.
Wildflowers also prefer poor soil, so you don't need to add any mulch or plant feed! Just make sure you keep the seedlings well watered in dry weather.
You can harvest the seeds at the end of the season for the following year and will have an abundant display of gorgeous happy flowers all summer long!
