Heritage Hedge - Hand pruned beech reduction (Feb-Mar)

2 - 3 foot height reduced, hand pruned for clean cuts. It's also important to remove any growth or fallen leaves (leaf litter) from around the base of the hedging in order to allow the roots to breathe and for any additions of (mulch/fertilizer) to pe*****te through the soil.

Equally, when you remove the debris from around the base, you'll have a eye on how healthy the trunk looks. It is also important to remove fallen leaf litter, leaf clogging (leaf fall buildup) from within the beech hedge interior to improve branch regrowth, maintain hedge shape and framework.
