From a dated fireplace and separate pieces of furniture to a fully bespoke media wall and fireplace installation.

Two bespoke alcove units, crafted in oak veneer and stained in Castle Brown to complement the existing furniture, create a cohesive and considered finish. The taller sections incorporate dedicated log storage, while the integrated cabinetry provides a clean balance of display and practical storage.

The chimney breast was extended by and a new log burner installed, with the final stage being a black Venetian plaster finish to the chimney breast.

A considered combination of natural materials, tailored storage and understated detailing — designed and built to transform the space.

These wardrobes were designed and crafted for a client who wanted something a little different and I think they’ve made quite an impact.

Every detail has a purpose.

One of my favourite parts of a house renovation is creating bespoke joinery that feels like it’s always been part of the home.

For this project, these custom alcove units were designed to frame the original fireplace, maximise storage, and incorporate a bridging TV unit. A concealed service void within the alcove units allows all cables and services to be hidden away, keeping the finished look clean and uncluttered without compromising accessibility.

Traditional pilasters were used to tie the cabinetry into the property’s period character, creating a timeless, high-end finish that balances modern living with original features.

It’s always rewarding to stand back at the end of a project and see a design that looks as though it was meant to be there from day one.

Sometimes it’s the simplest ideas that make the biggest difference.

This floating media shelf has concealed storage for remotes and everyday essentials, helping keep the space looking tidy.

And if you’ve ever spent 20 minutes looking for the TV remote because a little someone has “put it somewhere safe”... you’ll appreciate this one. 😂
