It's the twin of the jaguar print chair, but they're not identical twins. This one will be upholstered in a plain velvet in a complementary rich brown tone. It's actually the footstool box that will have the biggest makeover- new fabric, no buttons, piped edges and fabric folds to cover the not-very-pretty feet.

Here is a little look behind the scenes for this gorgeous beast 😍 In reality, a chair like this is many hours of work, but here's a distilled version. There wasn't really much sewing needed with this one - just some piping and some shaping for the seat and and back panel to go around the curves. The other curves were achieved with pleats stapled in place.
