New carpet and nosings for another school Rawson jazz for the carpet tiles and the ever consistent quantum nosings to finish thanks to Dave McDonald for the measure up saved us so much time on the installation , nosings were mostly loose and of the wrong profile ,a sneaky before picture from the initial tender request shows what a transformation this is .

Altro adhesive free timeless oak allowed us to get this over the line with some questionable subfloors mainly addressed with ardex na, with the added bonus of being fully recyclable at the end of its life we really feel like it’s the future of flooring being ,made up with a pvc content it’s good to know we can reuse as much as possible rather then go to landfill keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible check out Altro sustainability report

The quarrie tiles in this toilet were a disaster! 🚽💥 A whopping 30mm buildup to create a level base. Ardex NA and chipping was the hero of the day, smoothing out the mess with minimal fuss. Its versatility and rapid setting time were game-changers! 💪 Paired with the power of our Dewalt Flexvolt paddle mixer (just one battery needed!), we’ve transformed this space in no time. Back to school, back to business! 🏫🛠️
Another exciting school project is underway for Fowlers Building Contractors! We’re prioritizing speed and safety by using Altro ExpressLay in key areas. For high slip-risk zones, we’ve opted for Altro Aquarius, efficiently installed over Everlay isolation membrane.
In other spaces, Altro Operetta has been specified. To address both dampness and acoustics, we’re utilizing the 4mm thick Altro Everlay B. A smooth base is being created with Ultraflor Multipro, primed for optimal adhesion.
We’re thrilled to be part of this project and can’t wait to share the final result!

When a job needs to be completed in a day from uplift ,diamond grind of the subfloor, to ardex a46 moisture tolerant repair mortar then using Altro’s wood adhesive-free range which significantly aids in flooring renovations by offering a solution that eliminates the need for adhesives. This approach not only speeds up the installation process, addressing time constraints, but also effectively manages problematic floors. This allowed us to hand this back to the client in a day , perfect for any care home or education facility where time is tight and conditions of the subfloor are in doubt.

With the school holiday season upon us watch this space for numerous projects coming up all with products from Altros adhesive free range in conjunction with ardex Na smoothing compound giving us the fastest turn around possible Altro Limited ARDEX UK

New Polyflor Ltd designtex Vinyl fitted to Black Rose barbers in Horsham. Subfloor was in a terrible state different levels, blown wood blocks hundreds of years old. Got there in the end allowing the best barber in Horsham to ply his trade.
