Kath Barnes has been involved i
n property development for twenty years, which has aroused her passions to such a degree, that interior design is now her recognised career. Initially, having trained with a BTEC in Business Studies, in order to have a solid business base. She has since, more recently, successfully qualified with a 2:1 in BA Hons in Interior Design and a City & Guilds level 3 in 2d AutoCAD. Also, currently studying to become a member of The Home staging network. Kath has a personal objective to ensure that all her residential clients are living in a beautiful home, suiting their own personalities and style, to achieve a comfortable, adaptable environment. This will be achieved by understanding each family members colour psychology and harmonious colours during the initial consultations, then these requirements are blended, to give that overall perfect home design for all the family. With the use of technical drawing, sketching and rendering, a visual plan can be shown to achieve an end view for the client, ensuring that the client is happy with the proposal. Additionally, mood and sample boards can be a great source of envisaging the finished effect. Kaths' love of layering textures and complementary colours, will give the client a pleasing inner peace and serenity, knowing that their home is specifically designed with their personalities and life requirements taken into account. Additionally, any commercial projects will be designed with the utmost care, to ensure that every room will showcase a sumptuous quality, which appeals to the broadest of tastes, desires and comforts required.
