Piece number 2:

Upcyling Commission in Pevensey. In this unique commission I was tasked with the painting of 2 items. The second piece was more intricate than the fist which made it much harder for the Frenchic chalk paint not to clump and streak. By nature chalk paint is thick and drys very quickly which can make achieving a clean application very tricky.

This mid-century teak extendable dining table was also saved from the scrapheap. Its clean lines defined by contrasting wood tones made this one of my favorite pieces to work on and it was hard to see it sold.

Restoration of Victorian pine table, solid pine wood bench and chair. This compact table & seating arrangement is idea for a cosy apartment with rustic edge. All the items were given to me as they were surplice to requirement from the original owner.

They were in a bit of a bad state of repair, but rather than see them on the scrap heap great care was taken to mend each item and sell them as a set, keeping their rustic charm. They sold pretty much instantly.
