Some of our favourite projects are the ones where customers ask us back.

Back in 2019, we carried out refurbishment works at the Carlile Institute in Meltham, helping to update some of the building’s internal spaces and meeting rooms.

Fast forward a few years, and we’re pleased to be back on site carrying out a partial refurbishment of the kitchen, including new units and flooring.

As a community building that hosts everything from local groups and activities to events and meetings, the Carlile Institute is an important part of Meltham. It’s great to play a small role in helping maintain and improve a building that’s used by so many people.

For us, projects like this are about more than the work itself.

When a customer comes back years later and asks us to help with the next phase of improvements, it’s a reminder that doing a good job, communicating well and building strong relationships really matters. 🧡

Before you start planning an extension, ask yourself one question:

Are you making the most of the space you already have?

One of the most common things we see in homes is rooms that don’t quite work together.

In this project, the conservatory and kitchen were separated by an internal wall, creating space that wasn’t really being used to its full potential.

By rethinking the layout, opening up the rooms and redesigning the kitchen, we were able to create a much larger and more practical living space without increasing the footprint of the property.

The result isn’t just a new kitchen.

It’s a home that works better for everyday life.

A full house renovation starting to really take shape 👏

Last year, we completed a full reroof on this property, and now we’ve moved onto the next major stage of the renovation with the installation of brand new aluminium windows and doors throughout the home.

With the roof complete and glazing now fitted, the project is progressing onto plastering as the internal spaces begin to come together.

From structural work and roofing, through to interiors and finishing touches, this project is a great example of the type of full home renovations we manage for our customers from start to finish 🏠

There’s still plenty more to come on this one, and we’re looking forward to sharing the transformation as the project progresses.

We’re really pleased to welcome Cain Fox to the Bray Interiors team as our new Kitchen Sales Manager 👋

Cain brings over 10 years of experience in the kitchen industry, from design and planning through to managing projects and helping customers create kitchens and interiors that improve the way they use their space.

Over the years, he’s worked across both the UK and European kitchen markets, including roles at Wren Kitchens, Magnet and independent businesses too.

He’ll be working closely with customers from the first enquiry through to the planning stages.

He also previously worked alongside our Showroom Manager Gina at Wren Kitchens, so they already know how each other works and have settled straight into helping customers and moving projects forward.

When asked why he joined Bray Interiors, Cain said he loved the overall feel of the business, the way Dan operates, and felt it was somewhere he could genuinely add value for customers. 🧡

We’re currently transforming this Huddersfield kitchen with bespoke laminate worktops, new upstands, an updated splashback, upgraded sink and tap, plus carefully tailored finishing details throughout.

With custom-depth worktops and a refreshed breakfast bar area, this project is all about giving the space a cleaner, more modern feel without the need for a full kitchen renovation.

If you’d rather learn on-site than sit in a classroom


We’re looking for someone to join Bray Interiors as a Joinery Apprentice.
This role is all about learning.

You’ll be working alongside experienced tradespeople, getting stuck into real projects from day one mainly kitchen fitting, joinery work, and general building jobs.
You’ll start by supporting with the day-to-day work on-site helping with installs, preparing materials, and learning how everything comes together.

Alongside that, you’ll learn how projects actually run.
From first fix through to final finish, you’ll see what goes into delivering a job properly.
Over time, the goal is to develop you into a skilled tradesperson.
No shortcuts just learning it the right way.

This would suit someone leaving school or college who doesn’t want to go down the university route and would rather learn on the job.

What matters to us:
– Good attitude
– Reliable and on time
– Willing to learn and get stuck in

You don’t need loads of experience just the right mindset.
