We are looking for a Trainee Gate Automation Engineer/Labourer to join our team.

ASAS is an innovative business that designs, manufactures and installs automation systems of all types. We supply and install automated security gates and entrance solutions for industrial, commercial and residential environments.

This trainee position is ideal for someone looking to begin or progress a career in gate automation, or a labourer looking to develop new skills.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

A strong interest in automation, or a related technical field
Some hands-on experience through education, apprenticeships, or practical work (preferred but not essential)
Willingness to learn fault-finding and problem-solving skills
A positive attitude and a desire to develop new technical skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Good communication skills and a professional approach when working on customer sites
What we offer:

Monday to Friday working pattern

A huge congratulations to ASAS Automation for being awarded our Proper Job install for July!

ASAS worked closely with their customer to create an automated gate system that complemented and enhanced the entrance of their property in Lambourn, Berkshire. ASAS powered the unique close boarded swing gates with a Beninca DU.350NVE underground motor with encoder technology. With Benincà PUPILLA photocells, along with safety edges to comply with safety legislation and for seamless access control, they installed a flush mounted Telguard ML Solo + 4G GSM intercom with a keypad to open and control the gates.
