We provide architectural and town planning services in the Thames Valley, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire and North/West and South East London areas.

If a client is contemplating a major or minor redevelopment proposal, change of use, listed building, education project or a LDF related submission we can provide professional assistance and positive design solutions.

We work with clients to resolve design and development issues without recourse to appeal.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Architect (RIBA qualified preferred) or Architectural consultant who can prepare feasibility drawings, planning drawings and Building Regulation drawings.

Part time hours and remote working is possible.

Skills required:
- Experience working on schemes submitted to Local Planning Authorities
- Input into Design and Access Statements and other supporting documents for planning permission
- Attending zoom or in person meetings when required

Stanmore was a challenging site to plan for housing and to develop, plus there is a small two-storey timber residential building adjoining one boundary, a park, and a curtilage listed wall. The vehicular access to the site is privately owned and positioned to the rear of a terrace of shops. The site was formerly a housing site for terraced cottages in the 1950s, and subsequently, a council car park then left vacant for several years.

The six flat scheme is of a contemporary design with good use of materials, dormer style windows, brick elevations and a standing seam roof. Plus, integrated landscaping, footpaths and bin enclosures with parking spaces adjoining the service road.

Planning permission was granted, and four planning conditions officially discharged and building regulations submitted and negotiated through with Harrow Council.

One of our favourite projects!

We helped the owner secure planning permission for 3 detached properties with garages and a rainwater harvesting system. The site was formally residential gardens.

Planning permission was granted and the properties constructed and occupied.
