Here’s our latest project, a detached house completed over in Denton on Friday.

-Two chimneys dropped, timbers installed and covered over.
-Loft cleared out, insulation topped up to 300mm and 2sqm of boards installed around loft hatch.
-New loft ladder installed
-Breedon flat anthracite grey tile installed with a dry ridge system.
-Built up felt roof replaced with rubber system.

Loved this project and looks great, comes with a 10 year guarantee 😍

A little project we’ve been working on over in Ashton.

Nice to do something different for a change, we don’t get the chance to do this type of work in tameside generally. Thanks for the client for letting us take our time to get this bang on! Thought we would go the extra mile and put some detailing in of our own…

- Both valleys renewed in code 4 450mm lead.
- 5 way spire fully refurbished including new t&g boards

Spire had 3 different pitches, which created all kinds of problems to get the slate to come in together but really happy with the result! Not many out there that would or even have the ability to take this on 🤪

Little Job Dallas & Josh completed this week. This originally had lead installed, all in one piece. Was cracked in multiple places and leaking for years. Unfortunately the joists and wall plate was completely rotten, along with insulation so changed these out and looks fantastic now!

Not something we often do fibreglass roofs anymore but thought this would tie in with next door easier.

Client wanted us to insulate both areas so ended up taking the porch roof off. The slates were covered in flashband so couldn’t go back on but happy with the result of both of these.

Some aftercare work yesterday on a site in winsford!

Roof was exposed to the wind, which kept dragging tiles out.

Stripped the affected area, installed tile clips and double nail and sorted! F

Bittersweet moment today.

3 years ago we was approached to conduct a survey for insurance purposes on 5 luxury developments in greenfield. This was one of the first written reports I ever did. I spent a lot of time perfecting, fact checking, referencing and getting this right so the home owners wasn’t out of pocket and insurance would pay.

Unfortunately we never ended up with the work (Insurance are always going to go with the cheapest quote judging by scaffold 😂)

However it’s a great feeling to see my hard work come to fruition and these home owners getting sorted. No one deserves to be ripped off and in our industry, it happens all too often.

We do many of these surveys now for all kinds of different purposes. If you need a written report for a property purchase, legal action or maintanence planning. Please get in touch.

Another one off the list! Weathers been up and down all weekend but we’ve battled on and managed to get this one done in 2 days as promised.

Increased the insulation from 100mm up to 300mm to help the client with her energy efficiency.

Missing a verge like as I decided to put an extra course in on the back as it was more open than I realised. Quick trip to suppliers tomorrow and get that on and ready for scaffold to come down!
