Who bought tree spinach plants from the Saltwood Castle Plant Fair back in May? I’ve just harvested my first batch & it was delicious.

🍃sautéed with garlic, butter, olive oil, salt & pepper, added to a Spanish grain mix (good old Aldi - nothing weird in the ingredients either) , a dollop of houmous & topped off with a boiled egg. 😋

I just had to take this picture - all the elements of a symbiotic relationship on the top of this feverfew. The aphids being protected from the ladybirds 🐞 by the ants 🐜 who get a sweet drop of honeydew in return. Just incredible.
