A taxing job over the last two days, the lounge floor in this 200 year old cottage was so uneven it was never going to be level so the best we could hope for was to smooth it out a little! 😄 prime seal then screed then a few patches before fitting LVTs over.
Turned out ok in the end.

Having done downstairs it was on to fit 3 bedrooms and the landing and stairs in grey saxony. 10mm tredaire underlay underneath for that luxurious feel.

Well I’ve not seen a new house with a floor quite as rough as this one. Having cleaned up all the plaster debris it was then sealed and self levelling compound applied, a rub over with a stone then sealed again before fitting LVTs on high temperature adhesive.
