Just want to say a massive thanks to my Dad (Jonny) for the pleasure of working with you for last 5 years. I always dreamed of working alongside you since I had the business so for that to come true was awesome. You are the hardest worker I’ve ever known, helping me with painting when I was super busy and allowing to be to have a joiner on tap and being able to take on more jobs that I knew required your joinery skills. You never moaned when it was a hard job, you just cracked on. We have had many piece times and laughs together, we have been able to swear a lot without mum knowing😂🙈. I will miss not meeting you on the job in the mornings. Sadly your sore bits have got the better of you but thanks again. Don’t worry Mia will keep you on your toes after school.

A lot of work but very rewarding job to restore such and old porch to match age of house.

This was a rather big project, several layers of wallpaper stripped taking half the wall with it, wood chip stripped off ceiling, all walls skimmed from top to bottom. Finishing rail added to top of wooden linings, old tiles ripped off and replaced, then wood work done in eggshell and walls emulsioned. Thanks John Bruce Joinery for your part, amazing having a quality joiner at hand. The happy customer said a massive thank you as I know this job has caused a lot of blood sweat and tears, there was a bit of blood on my fingers from so much sanding a lot of sweat but no tears as jobs like this very rewarding when you see the final result.

Well when a friend of mine said her son Brodie wanted flames on his wall, I thought it would be nice to do something a bit different for a change, so this is pencil drawn and hand painted. Not gonna say it was easy but happy with the end result and I think Brodie is too. Walls done in Dulux Chic Shadow first.

Latest job in Insch, a lot of prep but very rewarding once you see the finished job. Most windows needed stripped bare primed and a few top coats of Walnut stain. I must give most credit to my Dad at John Bruce Joinery as he is a very good painter too and ended up doing most of this. He also supplied scaffolding. Think after this he will be happy to back to doing some joinery so drop me a message on here if anyone looking for some joinery done.

Home project that has taken us a while, thanks to my amazing Dad for making new doors and windows and fitting them. Thanks to my awesome husband for assisting my Dad and for tiding up wall. Wanted to keep original colours, done with Sandtex Satin Black and Sandtex Pilliar Box Red Gloss.
