📌✨ Do you have a notice board or pin board at home? Does it look a bit like this?

Last night ours literally fell off the wall while we were watching TV — THUMP! What a fright 😅 But actually, it turned into the perfect opportunity to sort through it.

✅ Receipts we no longer needed
✅ Vouchers long expired
✅ Notes and papers that had lost their relevance

In just 5 minutes, it was all cleared. And here’s the thing: I realised we don’t even need the board anymore. These days, most receipts arrive by email, and business card details can be saved straight into your phone.

👉 If something in your home is no longer serving you, don’t feel you have to hang onto it. Letting it go means less clutter, less dust, and more peace.

💡 Remember: Don’t keep “just another place” for clutter to build up.

✨ Feedback Friday ✨

It’s been another busy week!

On Monday and Tuesday afternoons, I supported a family to declutter and organise a bedroom and spare room. Their grown-up son had returned home several months ago and was still living out of boxes — and it was creating stress in the household.

Over two sessions, we:
✅ Emptied all the boxes
✅ Inspected each item together
✅ Identified what he wanted to keep
✅ Moved furniture around for better flow
✅ Put systems in place to keep things organised

Client quote:

“I didn’t know where to start. I was completely overwhelmed. I felt guilt and shame that I was in this mess and hadn’t wanted to accept help before. Now my bedroom makes sense — it’s calm and organised.”

The transformation was huge:

Creating zones and systems that work — and are sustainable — is key to keeping clutter at bay. Now this home feels lighter, calmer, and happier all round.

The Visitor Who Snapped Pics of My Cupboards 📷
One year ago today, a friend visited and turned into a decluttering paparazzo. She snapped pics of my cupboards and drawers like she’d discovered a hidden treasure trove. 😄 It made me realize how much I adore this process - the thrill of finding creative storage solutions and helping clients reclaim their spaces.

🌿✨ I’ll be a little quieter on here over the next few days…

It’s that time of year again – Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival time here in the Highlands! 🎪

Every summer, I have the absolute joy of delivering fun and uplifting Laughter Yoga sessions at this magical festival – and I can’t wait to be back sharing the power of connection, breath, and big belly laughs! 😄💫

This may be controversial but… do you really need a dressing table? 🤯
One of my lovely clients sent me a photo of a gorgeous dressing table recently and asked, “Do you think this will become a clutter magnet?”
My answer? YES. 🙈

Hear me out…
✨ If you're someone who wears minimal makeup (like me), then what purpose is it really serving?
✨ Dressing tables take up space — precious space. And unless your bedroom is huge, they can make it feel crowded fast.
✨ Natural light is key for makeup — and yet it’s often tricky to place a dressing table where the light actually hits your face properly.
✨ And the biggest culprit? CLUTTER. Even with the best intentions, these beautiful surfaces can quickly become a dumping ground: a random hairbrush here, yesterday’s necklace there, that one receipt you meant to file… and suddenly, it’s a dust-collecting mess.

Drawers? Amazing if they’re organised. A nightmare if they’re not.

The best bit? My client paused before buying and asked for my input. That’s the kind of ongoing support I give — because the goal isn’t just to make your home look lovely for five minutes. It’s to create a space that works for your life.

Space is a good thing.
We don’t always need to fill it.
